And by the way, that beach in the picture on our blog is at Pacifica. (Technically I think it's a little town called Lindenmar or something like that, but it's basically Pacifica.) I think it's the best beach around for beginning surfers.
We also LOVE the beaches around Montara. If you drive along the coast north of Half Moon Bay you'll pass a bunch of pretty beaches, with cliffs and everything. Enjoy!
