B: What do those look like?
Me: You know something a gladiator would wear.
I show him a shoe similar to this one:
B:I don't think a gladiator would go into battle wearing that. I mean it's all metallic and stuff. It has knots. A gladiator would never be ready to kill someone wearing something like that. And since when did you want to look like a gladiator?

oh my goodness!! mine just arrived in the mail today!!! I was going to blog about them too b/c I was debating about taking them back!
that is the funniest conversation, that i've heard in a long time! {well at least between people over the age of 5!}
Maybe the female gladiators had to dress to impress as well as kill.
I have some of these and Matthew thinks they are the most ridiculous things ever. I'm sure he'll eventually figure out they are pretty cool.
